Privacy policy
Last updated October 9, 2026.
This policy explains what Undeny (“we”, “us”) collects when you use undeny.ai, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: our free tools are built to work without patient information, we don't store what you type into them, and we only keep your email if you give it to us.
What we collect
- Your email, if you join the waitlist or email yourself a letter. We store it with the page or tool you signed up from and, where you provided them, qualifying details such as specialty, monthly claim volume, or the denial code, payer, and CPT code you were appealing.
- What you type into the appeal generator. The denial code, payer, optional CPT code, and optional description are sent to our server to draft your letter. We don't save them or the letter in our database. See Security & PHI for how drafting works.
- Usage analytics. Google Analytics records pages viewed and tool events (for example, that an appeal was generated, with its denial code and payer). Microsoft Clarity records page interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Text typed into our tool and signup forms is masked from Clarity recordings.
- Data kept in your browser. Your recent appeal letters and a few preferences (like a dismissed banner) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Patient information
Please don't enter protected health information (PHI) such as patient names, dates of birth, member IDs, or claim numbers into our free tools. They are not covered by a Business Associate Agreement. Letters use bracketed placeholders so you can fill in patient details after copying.
How we use it
- To send what you asked for: your letter and checklist, and founding-member updates.
- To understand which tools and pages are useful, and to improve them.
- To contact founding members about the free denial audit and launch.
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Neon stores the waitlist database.
- Resend sends our emails and keeps a contact list for them.
- OpenAI drafts appeal letters from the details you enter.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity provide usage analytics.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email from us.
- Ask us to see or delete what we hold about you by emailing hello@undeny.ai. We'll confirm once it's done.
- Block analytics cookies with your browser settings or a content blocker; the tools still work.
Retention
We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to delete them or we stop running the waitlist. Our vendors keep operational logs under their own policies.
Children
Undeny is a business tool for healthcare practices and isn't directed at children.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and email founding members about material changes. Questions: hello@undeny.ai.
